Baby B In-Home Newborn Session – April 11, 2018 | Drayton Valley Documentary Family Photographer
Can we have a talk about the third child? I’ve always heard the third one is the “crazy” one, the wild child, the one that will make you pull your hair out. Personal experience has completely confirmed this in my own life (though our third child is usually the one doing the pulling of the hair at our house). Every once in a while anomalies happen though, and that seems to be the case in this family. Their third child, little Mr. B, is super easy going and has been a dream baby for his mama. Who’s got two thumbs and is jealous of that? This girl right here.
This session is from the spring of 2018, and also not my first session with this family. I love repeat clients, and especially love getting to see their littles grow and watch their personalities develop. We spent some time together doing puzzles, reading stories, and jumping on the bed. His big sisters were super entertaining; my favourite moment from this session was when Miss A had to cover her baby brother’s eyes so he didn’t have to see the scary part in the book they were reading. I’ll never look at “We’re going on a bear hunt” the same way again.
In-home newborn sessions are always a personal favourite because the atmosphere is so relaxed and it’s all about the new arrival. We let babe do his or her thing and everyone else just gets to snuggle and play. I always feel so privileged to be let into the family’s home and experience that atmosphere of new baby love with them. There’s nothing like it.
Be sure to contact me if this seems like the perfect way to remember those first few weeks with your new babe.
