Miss A Newborn Lifestyle Session – July 6, 2017 | Drayton Valley Documentary Photography
Miss A was welcomed into the world at the beginning of summer. We waited a bit to get together for her photo session, as her arrival attracted quite a few grandparents who had to travel on a very long plane ride to come meet her. We had a lovely day for photos, and we spent some time outside taking some posed photos with said grandparents. I chose to keep those private for the family, and instead highlight the little moments we shared in the house. There is something to be said about a relaxed cuddle session when it comes to newborn photos; there’s nothing I love more than capturing the love and amazement that new parents have for their little one. We spent some time in her room, on mom and dad’s bed, and just hanging out on the floor in the living room.
Sometimes I wish it was socially acceptable for us all to just have a nap when we feel tired; I will freely admit that I am super jealous of babies when it comes to the amount of sleep they enjoy. That plus the fact that they look cute with no pants on, and are
allowed encouraged to burp after all their meals. Sigh. They don’t know how good they have it. If you have a bundle of sleeping, burping, no-pants-wearing joy arriving in your life soon, get in touch with me to book a documentary session of your own; I promise a no stress, relaxing session filled with moments you will love to look back on.
